Pat Ciferno Consulting

Our Process

  • Our first step is always to review the position description with you, the client, to evaluate the requirements and establish communication and cooperation channels
  • At this point Your Consultant will attempt to fill in missing information about the position. Along with other information, we must understand your corporate culture, why the position exists, and the various personalities involved
  • With the specifications approved, the search begins! We employ several different methods in this process and each is handled with skill and discretion. We will keep you informed of our progress and consult with you regularly
  • Each candidate considered a match will be closely screened and evaluated by Your Consultant. This will include skills matching, career evaluation, references and assessments if you so desire
  • Candidates deemed presentable will be forwarded to the coordinating manager along with References, Assessments (if included), Specifications vs. Candidate Skills Report, and Consultant Report
  • Candidates selected for interviews will be scheduled at the earliest possible time. Candidates will be prepped for the interview by Your Consultant, who will also be available to assist in your preparation as needed
  • Following the first and any subsequent interviews, Your Consultant will immediately debrief the candidate and report to you
  • Your Consultant will then take on the role of Intermediary and / or Negotiator to bring the candidate to the next step: closure or offer
  • The offer will be discussed in advance with Your Consultant and arrangements will be made on making the offer
  • Post offer consultation and follow through continues for one year after the hire. In the short term, this valuable service keeps loose ends tied up and family concerns out in the open. Long term, we discuss potential problems or situations and help to uncover solutions.
